Terms of Service

Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) and legally able to enter a contract. You may not use PlayParlor if you are barred from doing so under the law of your jurisdiction, or where a court order or registry prohibits it. One account per person; accounts are personal and non-transferable.
What PlayParlor is
A social platform for consenting adults to meet for personal, non-commercial connection. It is not an escort, dating-for-pay, or commercial-sexual-services platform. We do not organize the meetups or events members arrange, and we are not a party to them.
Your account & verification
You are responsible for your login and everything done under it. Access to features is tiered by verification (email, phone, and optional photo/identity checks). Verification badges reflect checks performed at a point in time and are not a guarantee of anyone’s identity, intentions, or safety. Always meet new people cautiously and in public first.
Acceptable use
Follow the Community Guidelines. In short: no coercion, harassment, hate, threats, doxxing, impersonation, non-consensual imagery, minors, trafficking, prostitution or commercial sexual services, drugs, or other illegal content or conduct. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.
Your content & licence
You keep ownership of what you upload. You grant PlayParlor a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process (e.g. strip metadata, resize, watermark), and display your content solely to operate the service for you and the members you share it with. You confirm you have the right to post it, that every identifiable adult in it consented to it being shared here, and that it contains no minors.
Moderation & automated systems
Content and behaviour may be reviewed by automated signals and by human moderators to enforce these terms and the law. Automated signals assist — they do not make final enforcement decisions alone on material matters; a person reviews significant actions. You can appeal an enforcement decision (see Community Guidelines).
Events
Events are created and run by members (hosts), not by PlayParlor. Hosts are responsible for their events, venues, guest conduct, age checks at the door, alcohol, and compliance with local law. You attend at your own risk. Any external ticketing or payment happens on the host’s third-party site under that site’s terms — we do not process it.
Fees
PlayParlor is currently free to use; there are no paid subscriptions at this time. If paid features are introduced, we will publish clear pricing, auto-renewal, cancellation, and refund terms and obtain any consent required before charging you. Nothing here obligates you to pay for anything today.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete account); personal data is erased after a 30-day grace period, except records we must keep by law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, the law, or the safety of others — immediately in serious cases such as suspected minors or illegal content.
Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided “as is”, without warranties. We do not guarantee the identity, conduct, or safety of any member. To the extent permitted by law, PlayParlor is not liable for members’ conduct or for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and your mandatory statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
Disputes & governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the operator’s home jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory protections of your country of residence (including, for EU/UK consumers, the right to bring proceedings in your local courts). We aim to resolve disputes informally first — contact the safety team before escalating.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes require fresh acceptance at sign-in; we record the version, timestamp, and IP of your acceptance. Current version: v2026-06-01.
